    You’re correct that lotions absolutely do not work. Any positive effects are actually the result of rubbing which swells the skin thus hiding the lumps for an hour at most.

    Losing weight does reduce the appearance of cellulite, because the less fat you have, the less chance of fat cells bulging to the surface. Working out builds muscle which also reduces the appearance of cellulite.

    I am starting at the gym, i was going sometimes, and now im going to try and make it an everyday thing. I usually do the steppers, ellipticals, and mechanical bike… wouldt they help reduce the appearance of cellulite on the thighs? as well as burn fat from the glutes and lovehandles?

    Getting rid of cellulite is not as easy as buying a single product or exercising and BAM your cellulite is gone. To remove cellulite effectively you need to look at what causes cellulite. Also to get the most benefits out of exercising to remove cellulite you need to work your cardiovascular and anaerobic systems.

    As explain toxins and fats are a major cause to cellulite so you need make some alterations to your diet. You need to remove as much saturated fat from your diet as possible. This means no more deep fried foods and take-away foods. To reduce the amount of toxins in your body you don’t need a full detox diet. You just need to stay away from highly processed foods. This can be easy all you have to do to remove most of the toxins is eat more fresh fruits and vegetables.

    Some people think you don’t need a cellulite cream, but to get the best results and fastest results you would probably want a cellulite cream. Why do you need a cellulite? Because, the cellulite has damaged your skins connective tissues and cell structure, and the longer you wait the worse it gets unfortunately.     I have never had cellulite before, but then I quit soccer and a few years later I started getting cellulite, its not bad cellulite like most people, but I would like to know how to get rid of it before it gets bad. Im already trying to get back into my running and drinking water. How can I build more muscle in my thighs?

    Get a set of weights that fit your comfort level and do sets of lunges and squats everyday, the muscle will be there in no time. Not to mention if you jog multiple times a week, those thighs will look like one of those bad stories gone good out of a magazine. Best of luck to you, I know you’ll get your sexy body back.

    Since I dont do cheerleading anymore and ive been out of high school, I have noticed im getting cellulite on the backs of my thighs. I know exercise to target that area will help, so I am doing that. But how soon will I see results? I am also wondering if the creams really work and how long it will take for the cellulite to go away if i apply it as directed, like 2 times a day? Tell me about your nasty cellulite experiences please!
    just an fyi to sweet sensimilla-i weigh 140 lbs and im 5’7″., and I work out 5 days a week.

    Hey, Lauren — I have the same problem. Cellulite is more about the way your body stores fat than your exercise routine. No amount of working out will get rid of cellulite unless you specifically target the backs of your thighs with some other techniques.

    Here’s what worked for me:

    1. Brushing (dry brushing every night before my shower)

    2. Exercise (pilates and deep knee bends — hard on the knees, but great for the legs!)

    3. Cellulite cream. I bought some cellulite cream online and it worked fantastic for me.
